Simple Recruitment are looking for an Estates Team Member for our client based in Castle Cary to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be an essential component in the smooth operation and safety of our client’s beautiful buildings.

The JobThis is a varied role that will see the successful candidate juggle a slew of maintenance tasks, adhering to health and safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. As an Estates Team Member, you will be working within a tight-knit team to maintain our client’s school buildings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carpentry, electrical, masonry, and gutter repairs.
  • Glazing and redecoration works.
  • Estimate and place material orders.
  • Discuss maintenance concerns with the Estates Supervisor and Estates Manager.

About youAs an Estates Team Member, you will need to have passion for your job and a genuine pride in completing tasks and projects to the best of your ability. As you will be working within the education sector, you will be expected to conduct yourself with professionalism, always being a shining representative of the school in line with procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Happy to follow policies and procedures.
  • Someone who is always looking to hone their skills.
  • You must be able to play well with others as you will be working closely with the Estates Supervisor and Estates Manager.

SalaryDependant on Experience.

Hours40 hours per week. Weekends are worked on a rota basis.
