We are seeking reliable and experienced 3.5t Van Drivers to join our team in Castle Donington. This is a two-man role where you will work alongside a porter to deliver flat pack furniture to customers across various UK locations. If you enjoy driving and providing excellent customer service, this role is perfect for you!
Salary + Hours
- 11.50 per hour
- Monday-Sunday (Choose your shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5t van to deliver flat pack furniture to customers.
- Work collaboratively with a porter to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Load and unload furniture, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Navigate routes across the UK, ensuring timely arrival at each destination.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the van.
- Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately.
Requirements:
- Must have a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 5 points.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a 3.5t van.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No bans or convictions on driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, with shifts starting from 06:00 until finish.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Physically fit to handle loading and unloading of furniture.
