Staffing Match are working with our well-respected national logistics client, we have opportunities for permanent HGV 1 drivers to work for them.
Benefits

- 23 plate vehicles
- 33 days holiday (dictated by factory shut downs)
Rates of pay
- 16.25 per hour basic
- 20.31 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Duties
- Completing 3 - 5 trunk runs per day
- 4am-9am starts.
- Curtain sider work
- Make on time deliveries
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
- Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be advantageous
Training
You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a Three-day company programme.
