Description
- As the IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will join a small infrastructure team, reporting directly into the Infrastructure Manager, and cover an array of responsibilities across both projects and senior BAU in an enterprise-scale environment.
- The technical environment is predominantly Microsoft-based, and you will be working with Azure, AzureAD, Office365, as well as networking responsibilities across DNS and DHCP.
- In addition to the core infrastructure elements, you will also overlap into IT security, and have the chance to develop your skill-set within this space. As a result, the role will really suit an Infrastructure Engineer who has a passion for IT Security, and is looking to progress their career down this route.
- The security responsibilities will cover areas across ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR and penetration testing.
- Given the collaborative culture of the team, there will be a requirement for the role to be based on-site at the Castle Donington office 3 days per week.
Profile
As the successful candidate for the IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer role, you will preferably have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience at a project level with the following technologies:
- Azure
- AzureAD / EntraID
- Office365
- DNS / DHCP
In addition it will be highly desirable if you have an understanding of the following areas of IT Security:
- ISO27001
- Cyber Essentials Plus
- Governance / Risk / Compliance
- GDPR / PCI-DSS
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from 38,000 to 42,000 per annum.
