Manufacturing Engineer

Proactive Personnel Ltd are proud to be recruiting for our client based in the Castle Donington for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

You will be responsible for working in a manufacturing industry and will ideally have aerospace industry experience (or similar).

Within the aerospace industry, you require working knowledge of complex assemblies and sub-assembly processes.

A significant part of this role is document control (which can include, but not limited to SOP's, quotations, BOM's, planning changes and others).

The role:

• Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research
• Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials.
• Develop manufacturing processes
• Assess product and process quality by monitoring capabilities
• Provide decision-making information by calculating production, labour and material costs
• Identify innovating technologies

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience of sheet metal
• Project management skills
• CAD experience - 2D and 3D
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Communication / customer service skills
• Knowledge of PFMEA
• Outstanding problem solving skills

This role is Monday - Friday (either 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00).

In return, you can expect to earn 35,000 - 40,000.
