CMM Operator

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1pm.

Location: Castle Donnington

We are looking for an experienced and skilled CMM Operator to join our team within the operations department. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting production in an inspection capacity, setting and calibrating CMM machines, and utilizing existing CMM inspection programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and calibrate CMM machines for production inspection.
  • Utilize and interpret CMM inspection programs.
  • Report any non-conforming data as per procedures.
  • Understand and assess component features and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate within a team to solve technical problems and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to quality assurance efforts.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in technical problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work within quality assurance and manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and technical software.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
