Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Supervision: Effectively manage classrooms in the absence teachers, ensuring a focused and purposeful learning environment.
- Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students, maintaining the continuity of learning and following school policies.
- Behaviour Management: Consistently implement the school's behaviour management policies to promote an atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Personalised Support: Offer support to individual students or small groups as needed, ensuring that they can access learning effectively.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with colleagues regarding student progress, behaviour, and any issues that may arise during the day.
- Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as registering attendance, and reporting any incidents or concerns to the relevant colleagues.
- Professional Development: Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on School policy and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
