Sheet Metal Supervisor
Salary: £42,500
Summary:
We're looking for a dynamic Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead a high-volume production team in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and delivery targets are met, while fostering a collaborative and motivated team. By driving continuous improvement and operational excellence, you'll help them achieve and exceed business goals.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities as Sheet Metal Supervisor:
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of daily production plans, adhering to safety protocols and minimizing risks to people, machinery, and property.
- Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards, with strict adherence to manufacturing instructions.
- Oversee and maintain a robust training program, ensuring all team members are properly certified and skilled for their roles.
- Plan and prioritise workloads to align with business needs, adjusting resources as necessary to meet demand.
- Monitor attendance, manage performance, and ensure all absence policies are adhered to.
Skills & Experience of Sheet Metal Supervisor:
- Proven experience in leading teams in a production environment, ideally in aerospace or automotive sectors.
- Recognised supervisory qualification preferred.
- Proficient with IT systems, ideally with experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Strong background in sheet metal or precision machining with an understanding of close-tolerance manufacturing.
