MC Technical Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Operator / Operations Technician, to work on a days based Monday to Friday basis on a renewable energy process plant. Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy industry, seeking a Plant Operator to join their team.  This role will involve.

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the site manager, conduct day to day operations on an AD plant
• Running the plant via a DCS / SCADA system (control room)
• Visual (First line) plant & equipment fault finding
• Driving a telehandler to load fuel into hopper
• Keeping the site safe & clean
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Operations experience in waste, process, power, marine or related sectors
• Or perhaps engineering qualifications but keen to learn to apply in an operational role
• Ability to work Monday to Friday Days shift pattern (overnight call out in rota)
• Forklift or telehandler licence preferred  
• Good H&S understanding
