Elevation Accountancy and Finance is recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a full-time permanent position in Castleford.

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Castleford area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time permanent basis.Duties and Responsibilities:

Bank reconciliations
Trial balance review to management account level
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
Production and posting of relevant journals
VAT returns
Purchase/Sales ledger support as required
Ad-hoc reporting / support to Head of Finance and Company Accountant
Assisting with year end audit process

Candidate profile:

AAT level 3 or above
Minimum 3 year’s accounts experience
Advanced excel skill
Sage 200 experience essential
Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central experience desirable
Payroll knowledge desirable
