Business Process Analyst - Wakefield AreaI’m currently seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join a fast growing wholesale company based near Wakefield. As a Business Process Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in analysing existing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions. You'll be working collaboratively with stakeholders from different departments, making this an ideal position for someone who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You will be the first person to join the business in this role so it’s a great opportunity to make your mark and offers great opportunities.Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives
  • Develop detailed process maps and workflows using industry-standard methodologies
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and technology integration
  • Work with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented processes
  • Assist the Training team in providing support for new processes and systems
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business process management

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding of business process management (BPM) concepts and methodologies
  • Proficiency in process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Experience with process automation tools and technologies
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable skills:

  • Certification in Business Process Management (e.g., CBPP, CBPA)
  • Familiarity with workflow automation and robotic process automation
