Our client is seeking an experienced site manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to oversee residential projects in their construction department.
The position offers a salary of £45,000 per year and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with no overtime expected.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day planning, organizing, and managing all project elements, as well as ensuring teams meet performance targets.
The role primarily involves working on sites in Wakefield and surrounding areas, with the potential for location changes over time.

Our client requires an experienced site manager to join their construction department and site manage residential projects. The hours are 37.5 per week, 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, there will not be any over time required. The site manager will be responsible for the day to day planning, organising and management of all elements of the projects on site. The sites will be mainly within Wakefield and surrounding areas and a permanent site manager these site locations will change from time to time. Deliverables include:

Delivering operational plans and policies that deliver a high quality and cost-effective Service.

Responsibility for controlling and working within the budget which includes the daily management of all related assets ensuring effective implementation of procedures.

Ensure that all teams are operating to perform and meet agreed and targets.

Management and monitoring of the day to day performance of all projects both site and office based

Planning and coordination of the works ensuring that information is effectively communicated to others within the company and sub-contractors

Assist in monitoring and reporting data for the financial results and performance.

Assist in the development of a full training programme in all technical disciplines which fulfils the team requirements and to fully comply with all current Regulations, Codes of Practice and Legislation.

Have a forward thinking approach to challenge current ways of delivery in order to improve services and identify cost savings through improvement

Manage performance and to achieve target, deliver appraisals for the team, manage sickness and return to work interviews

Assist in the management of CDM and Health and Safety to ensure that safe working practices are maintained at all times.

SMSTS & CSCS are required for this role.
