Search Consultancy is excited to be assisting in the recruitment of a Credit Controller for a full-time, permanent role based in Castleford. Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous Credit Control experience to join a fast-growing and dynamic company.
The role will involve daily monitoring of debtor balances, chasing outstanding payments, and ensuring debts are collected within terms following each sale. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the company sales ledger, from raising sales invoices and monitoring payments to escalating slow receipts. Additionally, you will resolve queries with internal and external stakeholders, process cash receipts and refunds, and proactively manage the debtor position, contributing to weekly and monthly debtor reviews. The role also includes general finance administration and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in sales ledger, credit control, or accounts receivable. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with exceptional attention to detail and an organised approach. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with Microsoft Excel and working in a fast-paced environment is also required.
