Exciting Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to work in WF10

Join us as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at our Ofsted-rated Primary Academy school located in WF10. Starting in September. You'll work alongside dedicated educators, shaping the learning journey for all students.

We are looking for a TA with experience in classroom support. Familiarity with the national Key Stage Curriculum, an understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, adaptability, empathy, and dedication to promoting equal opportunities are the key qualities we seek in a TA.

You will be supporting students aged [delete as needed] 3 to 5 years (Early Years Foundation Stage) | 5 to 7 years (Key Stage 1) | 7 to 11 years (Key Stage 2) | 11 to 16 years (Key Stage 3 and 4).

Responsibilities of the role include:

* Ensuring student safety and facilitating access to learning activities.

* Contributing to education and behaviour plans.

* Encouraging inclusivity and embracing diversity.

* Setting high expectations for student achievement.

* Providing feedback on student progress.

* Upholding child protection policies.

* Assisting with supervision outside of class.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Minimum GCSE English or Mathematics or equivalent or

Level 2 or Level 3 Support or Teaching Certifications.

* Previous experience in teaching support.

* Proficiency in spoken and written English.

* Right to work in the UK.
