Role: Commercial Finance Analyst Location: HARIBO Castleford (Hybrid working- 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home)- occasional travel may also be requiredWorking hours: 38Salary: CompetitivePosition type: Fixed Term (18-24 months)Reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Finance you will join a team of three, each supporting one of our core channels. To enable sugary success, you will act as a financial business partner to our Sales teams.The sweet stuff:-36 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays-Market leading life assurance-6% pension (matched by HARIBO)-20% discount in our stores-Discount platform - access to a range of discounts at hundreds of major retailers-Subsidised Canteen-Salary sacrifice - "Home Technology" and "Cycle to Work"-Bonus SchemeHow you’ll contribute to the mix:-Acting as a strategic financial business partner to the Sales team; providing valuable insights and guidance on business decisions and quantifying key business drivers-Using knowledge and judgement to provide input to the sales forecasts for your channel working closely with the wider business teams.-Facilitate meaningful forecasts and executable actions with which to manage the business-Acting as a Finance lead for key business growth strategies which will be instrumental in enabling understanding and scenario planning through best-in-class analysis-Owning the financial appraisal of promotional and trade investment opportunities; ensuring compliance and control of corporate spend-Ensuring accurate and timely management of the commercial month end process including reconciliation of trade spend accruals and cost centre accounting-Developing systems and reporting to improve both the content of the standard reporting packs and the process of report productionCan you supply our essential ingredients?-Qualified Accountant with previous commercial accounts experience-Advanced Excel user-Comfortable handling large volumes of data.-Excellent communicator who is confident speaking to all levels within the business. -Flexible and positive can-do attitude with the ability to achieve tight deadlines-Team player who isn’t afraid to get stuck in but also can confidently work independently.-Movex/ M3 Software knowledge is highly desirable but not essential, not forgetting SAP too!If our sweet insights into this role have got you craving a career with HARIBO, why not apply today to join the mix!REF-215 810
