HGV CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVER

SUNDAY - THURSDAY: 19:00 STARTS

PAY RATE: £15.23 PER HOUR

BETWEEN 22:00 - 04:00: £17.51 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering the potential for a permanent role.

Day to Day Duties

• Trunk runs to other Depots
• Drive Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Follow Company procedures and comply with the Driving rules and regulations
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all time

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence and have held this for a minimum of two years
• Experience driving Category CE vehicles
• Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes (IN, DR, DD, TT etc)
• Work in a professional manner

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working with curtain sided trailers is desirable but not essential

Training

• There will be a paid site induction prior to first shift
