Pyramid8 are recruiting for a temp to perm Warehouse Dispatch person based in Castleford
Responsibilities
- Pack and dispatch finished goods and roll stock materials, ranging from small parcels to multi-pallet shipments.
- To conduct regular quality checks on incoming goods, and to ensure that all finished goods are inspected before dispatch.
- Deal with customers at the trade counter for collections and counter sales.
- Operate a FLT to load and unload materials to and from vehicles or storage racking.
- To prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Numerate & Literate
- Computer Experience preferred
- Manual handling experience
- H&S aware
- Forklift truck licence
- Experience with conveyor belts or equipment is preferential.
- Able to read drawings
- Use measuring devices, tape measure, protractor, set square etc.
- Quality checking
- Experience of organising third party transport i.e. couriers, freight etc.
- Have an appreciation of our legal obligations regarding waste management
