Description
- Provide expert guidance on HR policy, employment law and best practices
- Support and develop the HR department's strategies and objectives
- Champion company values and work to foster positive working relationships across the business
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
- Assist with recruitment processes, employee onboarding and training
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for employee development
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required
- Support the implementation of change management initiatives within the company
Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar HR role within the retail sector
- A thorough understanding of UK employment law
- Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decision
