Our client, a large international print business, is seeking a press support operative for a rotational shift pattern from Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
The position offers a salary of £24,000 per year and is suitable for both experienced press support operators and those eager to learn.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the full job strip out, line support, and changing the press over to meet daily and weekly workloads.
Additional tasks involve powering up and down the press, loading and removing items from the cutter unit, and performing configuration changes.
The role requires a proactive approach to ensure efficient operation and support within the printing process.

Our client is a large print business who supply internationally and currently require a press support operative to support the printer which will be on a rotational shift pattern of earlies, lates and nights only Monday to Friday (37.5hrs). Friday late shift has an early finish of 8.30pm. They are open to an experienced press support operator or someone who is keen to learn and be a part of the team that has longevity of service. The role involves components to press, components from press and line support. Responsibility to assist in full job strip out, full line support and assisting in changing the press over, prepare all aspects to assist in achieving daily and weekly workload.
