Year 1 Primary Teacher needed in Wakefield for February 2025 start!Your new company, a fantastic primary school in Castleford, West Yorkshire are working in partnership with Hays Education in order to find a dynamic and motivated KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team. The school is two form entry and was ranked 'GOOD' on their most recent OFSTED report and 'OUTSTANDING' in personal development.Your new role: You will join the school as a qualified teacher, teaching a Year 1 class. You will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver exciting lessons in subjects across the National Curriculum, as well as assess your student's progress. The role will commence in February 2025. What you'll need to succeed in order to be considered for the role, you must:

  • Be a fully qualified teacher
  • Be able to provide references for recent teaching work/placements
  • Be an exciting teacher with lots of fresh ideas to bring to the school
  • Teaching experience with KS1
