Responsibilities of a Primary Intervention Specialists:
- Deliver targeted interventions to support student learning and progress.
- Work with small groups and individuals to close learning gaps in core subjects.
- Implement strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and follow school policies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and staff.
- Encourage and support pupils in their learning journey.
- Work collaboratively with staff and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements of a Primary Intervention Specialists:
- A recent degree in education, psychology, or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and lesson plans.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Some experience in a classroom or educational setting (preferred but not essential).
