Procurement Manager
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading Ground Works specialist, to recruit a Procurement Manager based near Leeds in the Castleford area.
Successful candidates will play a key role overseeing the procurement of materials for construction projects valuing from 50k to 5m across the country.
To be flourish in this role our client is looking for someone who is a professional, proactive & experienced operator that will lead the buying functions, deliver growth plans and integrate into the close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement process of materials for ground works projects
- Communication with Site Management to understand project requirements
- Build & maintain relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate terms and contracts with supplier to benefit the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience in buying materials for groundworks & civils projects
- Strong communication skills with all contributors to project
- Driven and proactive attitude
- IT Skills and ideally knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software
