Nicholas Associates are delighted to be partnering with an innovative and highly respected manufacturing company in the search for a Project Manager to join their established team in Castleford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global leader in fluid handling solutions, renowned for their cutting-edge engineering, quality components, and exceptional customer service.

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing large and technically complex projects, working closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in project management within an engineering setting, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large, technically complex requests for quotes and tenders.
  • Oversee full project management from enquiry to project close, ensuring effective communication with the relevant factory teams.
  • Draft and dispatch quotations and manage orders related to projects.
  • Interpret customer requirements and specify pumps as per the application needs.
  • Maintain all documentation related to projects, including technical drawings, datasheets, tags, and contracts.
  • Provide flexible support to colleagues with pump enquiries as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A technical background with the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Previous experience managing projects in an engineering environment; experience with pumps and fluid handling equipment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and stay organized.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes to the success of the team.
