Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Lead small group interventions and whole-class sessions when required.
- Adapt to different classroom environments and follow school policies.
- Provide a high standard of support and classroom management.
- Inspire and assist pupils in their learning journey.
- Work collaboratively with staff and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
- HLTA qualification or extensive TA experience with HLTA responsibilities.
- Experience supporting in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and lesson plans.
