Success Talent have a great opportunity to work for a well-known sportswear brand as a Store Manager. You will direct the team in delivering a knowledgeable, unique and positive experience for their customers resulting in a store with strong sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all monthly targets are met
  • To assist with creating a strong team environment for the retail team.
  • When required, assist with recruiting and development of the team.
  • Understand all current and future products and assist with educating retail team on product knowledge.
  • To assist with ordering products, stock control and responsibility for the delivery of all goods, following up with any discrepancies.
  • To carry out month and year-end retail stock takes, following strict stock control guidelines.
  • To assist with the control of the team rota.
  • To carry out daily banking procedures and assist with cashing up at the end of the shift, where necessary.
  • To ensure the customers has a positive experience whilst in the store.

Knowledge and Experience

Through relevant retail experience, with some in a management / supervisory position, you must be able to demonstrate acquired skill and measurable success in each of the following areas

  • Managing a team.
  • Driving performance through KPIs
  • Knowledge of Retail IT systems
  • Commerciality and merchandising skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential

  • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Make timely decisions, anticipate problems, identify areas of opportunity, and provide creative, logical and efficient solutions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends)
