Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Transport Planner for a national client in the Logistics & Transport Industry located in the Wakefield area.
The role requires a salary of £35,000 and candidates should have experience in transport planning and knowledge of UK driving regulations.
Working hours are Sunday to Thursday nights, reporting directly to the Transport Manager.
The position involves organizing collections and deliveries, communicating with drivers, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ideal candidates should be well-organized, capable of prioritizing workloads, and ready to face diverse challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Location: Wakefield Area.

Hours: Sunday to Thursday night

Salary: 35,000

Reporting to the Transport Manager

They are looking for someone to join their transport planning team.

Delivering effect and excellent support to Internal departments, Drivers, Customers and Suppliers.

Organise and plan Collections and Deliveries in a professional and confident manner.

You will need to understand UK Driving Regulations, as well as Operator licence.

Be aware of Health and Safety regulations, to dealing with Drivers working time and Tachograph knowledge.

You will have to be well organised, can prioritise workloads. Communicate to Drivers about re-routing, deliveries and collections.

Completing internal and external documents, transport movement orders, driver documents.
