Marketing and Office Assistant

12 month fixed term contract

9-5.30pm Mon-Fri

Pension, Performance related bonus, Private healthcare subject to eligibility, 25 days holiday, Holiday buy back scheme, Parking on site.

We are seeking a new colleague to cover a maternity leave contract in a busy Marketing team of an established, privately owned business not far from Caterham town centre.

Whilst you'll be handling the marketing activities on a day-to-day basis, this being a small company, everyone chips in from time to time to help each other out, so you'll need to also be happy occasionally answering calls and helping out with any visitors to the office.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Day to day management of website including updates to "keep it fresh" but also liaising with digital agency to maintain, update and redesign across the site and report any errors/fixes needed.
  • Online content management and marketing campaigns for website and social media accounts.
  • Standard company presentation management.
  • Involved in any company branding.
  • Working with teams across the business and identifying areas of opportunity for marketing activity.
  • Organise any company events and conferences.
  • Marketing analytics.
  • Reporting and tracking of company and competitor activities.
  • Communicating improvements and trends to senior management.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
  • Microsoft Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Desktop publishing skills (i.e. Adobe InDesign and Canva.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
