We are working with a growing Intelligent Automation consultancy which ison a mission to redefine the future of work,making work better for people, profit and the planet. They specialise in delivering solutions to customers in a variety of different industries using Robotic Process Automation, for fast-moving and efficient Digital Transformation.

Due to demand and growth, the team is on the lookout for a PHP Developer to join the dynamic team working on cutting-edge automation technology. This role offers a fantastic opportunity, reporting directly to the Project Manager, you get to work with a talented team and learn new technologies while contributing to innovative solutions for their customers.
This PHP Developer is a core position within the product team and you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the automation products and web applications. You will need to have full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.

PHP Developer responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating regularly with internal teams, including product, customer success, and marketing, to understand requirements and deliver on strategic goals.
  • Write, test, and maintain efficient code while identifying opportunities for software improvements.
  • Leading software development projects and ensure they meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct trials, perform tests, and implement quality checks for optimal functionality and optimisation.
  • Maintaining and supporting existing systems, enhancing performance where necessary.
  • Designing and developing back-end databases and web applications, focusing on responsive user interface design.
  • Engaging with end-users to gather feedback and identify application requirements.
You must have the following:
  • Strong expertise in PHP and/or Laravel (MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, routing, Blade templating)
  • Proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
  • Database management skills in MySQL and PostgreSQLincluding database migrations.
  • Experience with responsive web applications, API integration, and secure APIs.
  • Knowledge of Gitfor version control and collaboration.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and their security requirements.
