SEND Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education is working with an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Bromsgrove, seeking a dedicated TA to support a Year 3 child with autism and ADHD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to make a real difference in a nurturing school environment.

Job Role:

• Supporting a Year 3 pupil with autism and ADHD on a 1-1 basis.
• Assisting the Class Teacher with classroom activities and interventions.
• Encouraging and promoting positive learning experiences for the child.
• Implementing strategies in line with the National Curriculum and SEND best practices.
• Providing tailored support to help the pupil achieve learning goals.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism and ADHD.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Ability to work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
