Construction Logistics Manager - Catterick

We are looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to join a dynamic team on a long-term project in Catterick. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, managing all logistics, safety, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure logistics activities align with the project timeline and do not hinder progress.
  • Set up and maintain internal/external traffic and pedestrian management systems.
  • Oversee the upkeep of logistics routes, ensuring road cleanliness and safe conditions.
  • Manage materials in and out of the site, coordinating with key contractors
  • Provide logistics guidance to the supply chain and ensure full use of the DMS.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure the team is up to date with necessary training.
  • Deliver logistics awareness training to the site workforce.
  • Manage plant and equipment operations, ensuring compliance and safety checks.
  • Lead a team of operatives and gatemen to facilitate material distribution and waste management.
  • Identify and provide necessary training for the logistics team.
  • Proven track record in construction logistics or management roles
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Qualifications:
