I am currently seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join The Maintenance Team of a large and growing company in Leeds to provide effective maintenance, repair & servicing of the plant & onsite equipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent maintenance and fault-finding skills and must demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude dealing with a wide variety of tasks.
In this role you will be assisting the existing Maintenance team in:
- Attending mechanical, electrical, plant & equipment breakdowns.
- Carrying out safety tests as required.
- Undertaking a programme of planned preventative maintenance.
- Carrying out day to day repairs and fault finding.
- Liaise with contractors, comply with the current Health & Safety regulations and Company policies.
Preferred Experience & Education:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of maintenance and fault finding within a production environment.
- Experience with Steam systems an advantage.
- Experience with pneumatic and electrical systems an advantage.
- Familiar with PLC systems advantageous.
- Certified qualification in Electrical Fault finding preferred.
- Certified Engineering qualifications preferred.
