As Finance Assistant, you will report into the Financial Controller and your responsibilities will be:
- Full control of the purchase ledger and supplier payments.
- Sales ledger and credit control.
- Bank reconciliations, investigating outstanding items and resolving queries.
- Payroll processing, posting and reconciliations.
- Other ad hoc duties.
- Have 2+ years of experience within a finance function or where finance has been part of your role.
- Be proficient in Xero or Sage, and strong in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrate excellent accuracy and efficiency in your work.
- Be conscientious, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Be keen to learn, develop, and potentially study further, which this employer can support with (however this is not essential).
Based in Scarborough, this role is commutable from Cayton, Filey, Hunmanby, Eastfield, Scalby, Malton, Sherburn, Pickering, Bridlingtonand surrounding areas, with parking available on site.
