Teacher - SEMH and Complex Needs
£160 - £250 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: QTS, recent teaching experience working with SEMH or SEND environment. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.

We are currently seeking a Teacher for work within a partner provision in Truro working with learners with SEND.
Teacher - SEMH and Complex Needs role involves leading groups of learners with additional needs comprising ASC, PDA, challenging behaviours and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our main aim is to offer the best possible support to pupils. To be successful for this role a nurturing, patient and empathetic attitude will be key as well as excellent teaching ability.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teacher - SEMH and Complex Needs position, you will:
- Be a qualified teacher
- Have demonstrable experience of supporting and achieving exceptional outcomes with SEND learners within a mainstream or Special Needs setting
- Have the ability to teach across the curriculum following a nurture model
- Be an effective, motivated and driven staff member, with high standards and aspirations for your young people, delivering appropriate challenge
- A calm, positive professional in tune with all forms of communication – verbal and non-verbal
