I am working with a friendly and supportive Secondary School based in South Buckinghamshire, who are looking for a qualified P.E Teacher who is experienced in delivering PE lessons of a high standard, to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You must be able to demonstrate a pro-active approach and work well under pressure.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teacher of PE who can inspire students and drive them forward to achieve even better results.

You will need to have a strong subject knowledge and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this, you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills, and will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become a fast improving school.

Experience & Qualifications

  • PE teacher to teach PE at KS3 & KS4 effectively
  • Be enthusiastic, inspiring PE teacher
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lesson planning and effective delivery to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assessment and recording of achievement
  • Managing the classroom and resources effectively in order to create a safe, stimulating and positive learning environment for all students
  • To maintain positive discipline and promote the well-being and progress of students, providing guidance and advice
  • Monitoring patterns of attendance and punctuality
  • To engage fully with professional development activities
  • Developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents and students, maintaining effective lines of communication
