Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed and proactive Classroom Support Assistant to join schools in Chapel-en-le-Frith starting immediately. This rewarding role involves providing essential support to both teachers and students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities of a Classroom Support Assistant:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students in the classroom.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with their academic and social development.
- Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials.
- Monitor and encourage positive behaviour and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
- Offer support to students with additional needs, adapting activities as necessary.
Requirements for Classroom Support Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or young people as a Classroom Support Assistant or similar is desirable.
- Qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or similar are advantageous.
- A degree in Psychology, Education or in a similar field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Must be a driver with access to own transport.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
