Press Brake Operator, up to £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience), Monday to Friday with a 36-hour workweek and an early finish on Fridays. Free parking provided.
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our well-established family-run business in Chard. As a Press Brake Operator, you will use your expertise in operating press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.
As a member of our small team, you will be responsible for:
- Operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
- Setting up and adjusting press brake machine settings for optimal performance.
- Using hand tools and equipment to finish products to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate previous experience in:
- Press Brake Operation or a similar role.
- Grinding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly techniques.
- Troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Working in a safe and timely manner.
