The role: To provide efficient, knowledgeable technical support to assist our clients customers & engineers in the field Purpose of the role: Externally: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems for our clients customers, installers & engineers Internally: Provide internal staff within applicable departments with technical advice, knowledge & support What you will be doing on a day to day basis: Provide technical assistance / advice to customers & engineers in the field in relation to supplied equipment using a variety of means (telephone/email etc.) Provide technical assistance / advice to the Aftersales Department in relation to warranty call out visits To work alongside other relevant departments, to gain relevant product knowledge essential to the role To fully utilise the companys CRM system to manage/prioritise/update technical call tickets Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or relevant departments as required Analyse the reasons for technical calls and reduce call volume by identifying other suitable means of providing product information to customers From relevant technical calls, highlight improvements associated with product design / production methods / information or other related issues Where applicable, remain in contact with engineers until such time as you are confident that the reported problem(s) have been suitably resolved To assist the Engineering / Production / Quality Departments to highlight improvements associated with product deficiencies identified in the field Whats on offer: Full time, 37 hours - Monday to Friday, 100% site based

This role is based near to Chard in SomersetSalary 26K to 29K DOE, plus great benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free on site parking, pension and life assurance Skills and experience: Ability to learn, understand & interpret a range of technical information Ability to apply analytical thinking / troubleshooting to logically break down a problem step-by-step, following a systematic approach, in order to understand & identity the root cause of an issue Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and use this ability to diagnose and resolve issues Communication and interpersonal skills, interacting with customers / engineers / end-users and explaining solutions in terms that can be understood Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy when recording issues & solutions If this sounds like the sort of opportunity you are looking for, what are you waiting for - APPLY today!
