Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.Role & Responsibilities:Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability

Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer's plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively

Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S

Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems

Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance

Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting systemKnowledge, Skills & Experience:Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trainedContinuous improvement knowledgeStrong knowledge of good engineering standardsExperience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environmentsBenefits Package:£42,000 - £44,000
