- Perform a variety of complex skilled tasks to assist in the daily running and preventative maintenance of the production equipment, have ownership small projects.
- Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repair including but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, to production machines.
- Perform electrical skills to diagnose faults and repair, upgrades to machines and facilities.
- Read & interpret equipment manuals & work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Assist in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including developing planned and preventative maintenance and complete work status feedback.
- Use of own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support
- Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience
- Engineering Qualifications - HNC / NVQ / C&G, 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations
- Fault Finding Ability Both Mechanically & Electrically
- Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.
- Read and understand electrical drawings
- Competent in interpreting blueprints, sketches, diagrams, operating instructions, manuals, specifications, and correspondence.
