Join Our Client's Team as a Payroll Administrator!

Location: Chard, Somerset (Hybrid working available after 6 months)

Salary & Benefits: 26,000 - 29,000 PA DOE

Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (Part-time hours considered)

The Company: They are a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm with a diverse range of longstanding clients. The team is known for its friendly and supportive environment.

The Role: As a Payroll Administrator, you'll be at the heart of the payroll department, processing payroll for a variety of clients using Iris Payroll Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for clients with various payroll cycles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.)
  • Manually calculate Tax and NI
  • Calculate pay increases, overtime, and bonuses
  • Handle SMP, SSP, and other statutory payments
  • Report to HMRC and manage client queries
  • Manage auto-enrolment, pension assessments, and uploads
  • Respond to client queries promptly and professionally

About You:

  • Experienced in payroll with a solid understanding of statutory payments, auto-enrolment, and HMRC reporting
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
