Search are currently working with a well respected client in the Aberdeen area who are looking to add a Stores Person to their expanding team.
Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Aberdeen
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
Pay rate: (phone number removed)p/h DOE
Job length: Temporary to permanent for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect materials to/from suppliers and customers.
- Accurately receive, check, and process materials, ensuring no damage and correct certification.
- Maintain stock inventory and process delivery notes.
- Load/unload vehicles using forklifts, pallet trucks, and other lifting devices.
- Create delivery notes for outgoing shipments and manage stock levels.
- Interact daily with staff for stock requests and issue sheets.
- Package and deliver sales orders.
- Maintain company vehicles and ensure they are clean and fueled/charged.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Basic understanding of Excel and willingness to learn company systems.
- Valid driving license and forklift license desirable.
QHSE Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with QHSE Management System and policies.
- Promote a proactive health and safety culture.
- Support environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Ensure quality issues and opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented.
