Maintenance Engineer - Days Role!

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Shift: 12hr Shift Days

Location: Aberdeen 

We are recruiting for an industrial manufacturer who have an opportunity for Maintenance Engineer based in Aberdeen. I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer from an industrial background that is multi skilled, either electrically or mechanically bias, holding an engineering qualification.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment. Your role will include diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electrical faults, optimizing machine performance, and working proactively to prevent breakdowns. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement projects, ensuring that our production processes remain efficient and reliable.

Skills and Key Responsibilities Required for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults in machinery and production systems.
  • Carry out improvements and modifications to enhance equipment performance.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
