About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering catering supplies to various locations, handling multipledrops per route. This role requires physical strengthdue to the heavy lifting involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver catering supplies to clients.
- Perform 16-18 multidrop deliveries per day.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to the scheduled route.
- Load and unload heavy supplies, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a high level of customer service during deliveries.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and records.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid UK manual driving licence.
- Valid digital tachograph card.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification card.
- Proven experience as a 7.5 tonne driver,with multidrop delivery experience.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good knowledge of local routes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday (45hrs)
