Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with an exciting, high end wellness resort in Bridport (West Dorset) who are looking for a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Associate or Waiter/Waitress to join their growing Food & Beverage team.

This role offers accommodation, or relocation assistance for candidates moving into the area. A driving license is essential for this role due to the location of the resort.

What's in it for you?

As a Food & Beverage Assistant or Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a truly unforgettable experience whilst at the retreat; this will be a varied role where you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in all aspects of the business operation. You will deliver a best in industry level of service, ensuring the guests are well informed and looked after whilst dining during their stay.

Responsibilities will include working with the Food & Beverage Manager, and the wider hospitality team to deliver an unrivalled experience, including but not limited to:

  • Offering best in industry service levels
  • Develop a full working knowledge of the F&B function, understanding the home-produced products on offer and making recommendations to guests based on their preferences
  • Recommend experiences on offer at the resort
  • Ensure all F&B areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
  • Deliver an exceptional level of service at all times for the guests

Package

  • Salaries up to 30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is building a Luxury Wellness Resort spanning one hundred acres of working farmland in the picturesque location of Bridport, boasting their own vineyard, livestock, and wellness products. As a Food & Beverage Assistant or Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional stay, tending to their needs so they can really relax and enjoy themselves in the beautiful surroundings.

You will become an expert in understanding the F&B operation on site and will be the first point of contact for guests providing recommendations and delivering exceptional service. As a member of the Food & Beverage team you will have opportunities to learn how the products are made, ranging from the livestock reared on site, to the vegetables grown on the farm and the wine produced in the vineyard; it truly is a unique business with a bespoke offering for every guest.

This role will suit an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant or Waiter/Waitress who is ready to showcase their passion for hospitality and their dedication to delivering unrivalled service. Strong knowledge and experience serving and preparing wine and/or coffee is desired, as well as a strong background working in the hospitality industry in fine dining or luxury settings.
