Class 2 Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are a national distributor and wholesaler servicing a mix of small independent and large companies.

Responsibilities of theClass 2 Driver

• Multidrop delivery.
• Clock in and out on a Kelio hand scanner.
• Conduct pre and post-delivery checks on vehicles, pallet trucks and tail lifts.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluid top-ups and bulb replacements.
• Temperature checks of chilled vehicles.
• Check off goods with customers.
• Activate Tacho.
• Wash and clean the vehicle's interior after shift.

Requirements for a successful Class 2 Driver

• Class 2 driving licence.
• CPC qualified.
• Minimum 1-year multidrop experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Product and process knowledge.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills.

Summary of the Class 2 Driver role

Salary: £16.66 per hourLocation: Luton Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: 42 Hours a week with early starts and up to 15-hour days
