Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic sales professional passionate about making a difference and building long term relationships with customers
Ideally you are a Sales/Business Development or Key Account professional looking for a job where you can work with an industry leader who have already established a loyal customer base across the Kent region.
You will need a solid understanding of asphalt/aggregates or similar building materials and preferably have experience in selling to or account managing national builders merchants.
Please Note. This role is a field-based position in Kent and will require a candidate based in Kent to travel daily with a full driver's license.
Job Title: Area Sales Executive
Role Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:30 including one hour unpaid for lunch
Location: Field Based - Kent. A few days a week in the Kent office.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of Area Sales Executive.
- Account management within the region.
- Working with the internal Sales team based at local internal sales office.
- Building on new and existing relationships.
- Gaining new business through pro-active marketing.
- Promote existing and new products to clients.
- Maximising levels of profit and margin.
- Providing a high level of service to customers at all times.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction, builders merchants and aggregates - loose or bagged.
- Ability to work independently and plan your own diary.
- Confident to present at quarterly meetings.
- Proactive and able to solve problems quickly.
- Positive attitude.
- Client hosting experience.
