In this critical role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the protection and well-being of Medway's most vulnerable children by facilitating effective inter-agency collaboration and quality assurance.

Medway is committed to introducing Signs of Safety as our practice model, focusing on strengths-based and relationship-based practice. You'll play a key role in driving best practices, ensuring children stay connected with their families and are heard in every decision that affects them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair child protection conferences within statutory timescales, ensuring all voices are heard
- Constructively challenge and support agencies to ensure quality outcomes for children
- Lead quality assurance measures and drive high practice standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' social work experience, with significant expertise in child protection
- Confidence in developing professional relationships and the ability to constructively challenge when necessary
