In this critical role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the protection and well-being of Medway's most vulnerable children by facilitating effective inter-agency collaboration and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chair child protection conferences within statutory timescales, ensuring all voices are heard
  • Constructively challenge and support agencies to ensure quality outcomes for children
  • Lead quality assurance measures and drive high practice standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' social work experience, with significant expertise in child protection
  • Confidence in developing professional relationships and the ability to constructively challenge when necessary
