Location: Hybrid/Remote working with some attendance atChathamoffice for in person meetings as required.

Spinwell is recruiting for a Contracts Specialist for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTRACTS SPECIALIST

Review of Existing Contractual Arrangement:

Conduct a thorough review of the current FM Core contract.

Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Conduct soft benchmarking tests of current FM service delivery.

Development of New Contract Requirements:

Work closely with the FM Contracts Manager to define the requirements for new contracts.

Assess if service delivery meets current requirements, including additions and deletions.

Identify services to be brought in-house if applicable.

Determine which services will be outsourced and under what contractual terms.

Recommend the most suitable forms of contracts to use.

Develop a schedule of rates and a basket of costs.

Propose the duration for each contract.

Action Plan for Transition:

Create a detailed action plan to transition from the current contractual arrangement to the new service delivery (outsourced/in-house).

Outline the steps required for a smooth transition, including timelines and key milestones.

Cost Estimation and Financial Analysis:

Estimate the costs associated with the new action plan.

Identify potential savings and financial pressures.

Provide a comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making.

Additional Requirements:

Provide ongoing support and advice during the implementation phase to ensure successful execution of the new contracts.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CONTRACTS SPECIALIST

Proven experience in facilities management and contract consultancy.

Strong understanding of FM service delivery and contractual terms.

Excellent analytical and financial skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with legal and procurement teams.

Strong project management skills with the ability to create detailed action plans
