Role: Credit Controller
Hours: Full time 9am-5pm
Location: Chatham- Hybrid after training (typically 2 days a week from home for full time)
Salary: 25,000-32,000 for full time

I am looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a small but very efficient Finance team in Chatham. this an opportunity to join a market leader in the Construction industry who truly has their Employees at the heart of everything they do. The purpose of the Credit Controller role is to ensure timely payment of invoices to the business and so much more. Working in a team of 3 you will:

  • Proactively contact clients to secure outstanding payments- telephone and email
  • Reduce aged debt and average debtor days across your client portfolio
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Perform credit checks for commercial teams
  • Approving credit limits and payment terms
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Allocating payments

  • Professional Credit Controller who is confident on the phone
  • Experienced in managing late payments through to litigation- final demands etc.
