A leading bank is looking for a senior data engineer to work on a number of projects aimed at adding financial value.
THE COMPANY
A market-leading bank specialising in saving and lending products is looking for a senior data engineer to work on a catalogue of products and projects to generate income.
ROLE
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using tools like SSIS for integrations and SSRS for reporting
- Understand business requirements and translate solutions using legacy systems
- Work collaboratively across multiple teams to deliver on projects aimed at generating revenue for the business, presenting designs to stakeholders and taking feedback on delivery
- Be mentoring more junior members of the team from a technical perspective
Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years data engineering experience
- Preferably someone with a background in finance or other regulated industries
- Great communication skills and proven experience with stakeholder management
- Extensive knowledge of T-SQL & SQL server is essential, as well as SSIS and SSRS specifically for setting up data pipelines for reporting purposes

JOB PROCESS
The interview process consists of up to three stages; including a technical-based interview on knowledge of T-SQL.
